Price reduced $2,000. Possibly the premier unrestored, near original 240z offered at $10,500. Recepient Japan's NISMO award (28 cars in class), winner major local show (competition incl. Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes, Panoz, etc.), 2 regional Z shows, more. View at z-sport.com, "Member Rides", Pat Helmer. If price within shopping range, worthy of your consideration. Reputable Z-car enthusiasts attest to maintenance & desirability. Strong engine, primarily hwy. mi. Thanks to all for past kind comments. 210-826-4581

Ed---thanks so much for compliment---it is unlikely that the car will ever appear on E-Bay because of the fact that, as my best friends put it, I am now in my "advanced years", and not too computer/internet savvy and would not be comfortable with such an effort and possible stress involved. My sole reason for selling is to free up garage space for car a bit more practical for wife and myself. My preference is to find able buyer who will make good owner and with whom I can deal on individual basis. Thanks again!

Holy Crap!!!! that is the nicest '73 I have ever seen!. If I promised to call it Unc, and keep it in its current condition would you work with me on price?? I can provide refrences about how I keep a vehicle, and I'm sure folks here can attest that I am absolutely picky about Z's and their condition. It would never see a rainy day, and enjoy its down time in the comfort of my garage just looking forward to the next spirited drive in the country to stretch its legs.

Gotta find a way to get closer to Texas.

Good news! I'm sure UNC will appreciate the fact that you are taking care of his ride by only selling it to an avid Z fan. I raise my glass to you.

It has come to my attention that, while directing to pics of car, I erroneously referenced a link as "Member Rides" which should have been "Member Z's". Sorry if confusion---sometimes it seems these "golden years" also bring along a bit of "tarnish" now and then.

znephew,

it was brought to my attention that there is an ebay store in your city.

San Pedro and Bitters rds. This place will do all the drudgery for you, if you

are unable to find someone to help you. Most of us have used ebay in some

capacity and i'm willing to wager that it is a painless adventure, maybe one

to explore. remember rust never sleeps and youth is wasted on the young.

good luck.

Thanks for suggestion. May develop as route to go eventually. Many feel E-Bay could result in highest price. While price important, not only consideration. As aforementioned, my desire is to find responsible buyer, who, at same time, is able to purchase at reasonable value. Might mention original asking price based upon opinion of nationally recognized authorities who knew of car and other legitimate sources. In closing, as to any buyer's rust concerns---to best of my knowledge and belief car was undercoated long ago as preventive measure. Club members have examined and two knowledgeable persons and I have conducted search in commonly suspect areas (under battery, floorboards, etc.) and there is no evidence of rust, past or present, that we are able to find. I encourage questions but from able prospective buyers only, please. I have 28 yrs. of handwritten notes as to maintenance, invoices, etc. as well as my 3 yrs. of ownership to try to address buyer concerns. Again, thanks to all for interest and compliments.

The aforementioned diddies of my prior post were in no way a reflection on the condition of your z. RUST NEVER SLEEPS, is a oft used and famous quotation that had no malice, and YOUTH IS WASTED ON THE YOUNG is the same situation. Good luck placing your z with a deserving new owner.

By the way, I have seen the z at the national convention in San Antonio and 2 other shows and I believe your selling price to be a steal...
