Be careful what you say to PayPal. Their usual solution to any money problem (like refund) is to get rid of you. then you may or may NOT bew able to get a new account.

Happend to somebody I know who got their account hacked at Paypal. Spent the totall allowance on some stuff, then disappeared. Paypal closed the account. Paypal apparently only wants the commission and don't really care about you. Even if they are associated with eBay.

No, it wasn't me.

Not necessarily.

It is always worth it to pursue any avenue available to you. What do you have to lose? A few minutes time? Give it a shot.

I paid $75 for some items via PayPal (wasn't even an eBay transaction) and when the products did not arrive after 3 weeks, I started the claims process through PayPal and within 10 business days I had the full amount credited back to me.
