My 79 zx has a small rust buble, about 1 1/2 inches square, over/under the top windshield trim. The windshied is cracked and scheduled to be replaced. I want to repair the rust buble while the glass is out. I suppose Bondo could do the job but is there a better product that would be as easy and better to use?

Back in the old days people sometimes put curb feelers on their car down low near the tires to make a sound to let them know when they were near the curb when parking. I see them for sale on eBay and Amazon, but is there such a thing for an air dam? I have run into parking lot tire stops and not just with the Z. Maybe a curb feeler could be modified to work with an air dam? I imagine it would have to be at an angle so it doesn't get jammed straight back and cause damage to the air dam. Any ideas appreciated.

I thought I'd share this mod that I did, I really like it. I didn't like the look of my front air dam without lights in the cutouts. But I didn't want too much going on in the front. So I custom-hacked a set of fog lights to work as the turn signals. And then used a 240z grille to replace the stock grille and the stock turn signal locations. I like it

This mod is more aimed at racers and auto x cars, firewall flex is something a lot of unibody cars suffer from and Z's aren't immune. The brake pedal never feeling like it has a solid bottom could be caused by a number of things and firewall flex is one of them, I'm hoping this will help. It's an interesting experiment to try, have someone sit in your car and slam on the brakes, you can see the firewall move, the M/C move forward, a lot of leverage with that pedal.

Here's a pic of my Z that I recently painted in my garage. It still needs some final polishing and a couple little things here and there, but it's mostly done. I'm planning on taking her to the JCCS in October, so if you see me there be sure to stop and say hello. -Bart

I got a '95 Sentra with bone chilling air for $400. I've read people talk about it but nothing ever definitive or successfully done. Is there any way I might rob the system and put it in my 240? The evaporator box is looking like a good swap as is the blower. The hardlines could be fabbed up I think. Has anybody ever done this? I've got a $400 car that blows 45 degree a/c. Vintage air is $1200 just for parts. Thanks for any ideas, good or bad. I'm hoping someone else has thought about this.

For my never ending project, I swapped an MSA Type 2 spoiler for a Type 1 and installed a 240 bumper. Please let me know if your interested in the Type 2 spoiler.
