I have a repro sticker kit and I need assistance with some pics including measurements for correct placement. I would be much obliged, if a fellow '78 owner could post some pics of the OEM stickers along with a tape measure so I could put mine in the correct spots. I need shots of the inside of the Hood, the Radiator, Paint Code, Glovebox door and any where else there is an OEM sticker. Thanks to all in advance!!!

heres a few pics of the one area of rot on my car, whats the best way to go about patching this rot up? I have no experience with rust repair whatsoever, and as its not frame-related (triple checked rails, trunk floor and floorpans, no rust) I am willing to tackle this by myself. veteran rust repairer's please advise, thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I searched around but didn't find a source, I am needing a knob for the fuel door but can't find them anywhere. Are they all NLA? I think there are 2-3 different styles, but at this point I'm getting desperate. I didn't realize when I took on this project almost 15 months ago all the small pieces that were missing. Anyway, if someone could point me in the right direction on where to obtain a knob please let me know. Also, does anyone know where the fuel door attaches should there be a rod going through the spring on the right side interior of the door. I notice when I close the fuel door it wants to kick out on the right side.

I am looking for information on the use of rare earth magnets to attach the rear spoiler. There has been some mention of this in various other posts, so I am sure it's been done before. With positive expectations I ordered a few. They arrived and now I'm second guessing their use. These things are so strong it's frightening. My list of concerns includes, The magnitization of the body pannel and collecting debris and possibly staining/ scratching the paint, and or interference with the radio/ antenia and or messing up the K-40 radar sensor I hid in the rear taillight. What do you guys think? neal

I don't think most people here have seen my car. I didn't think it had any serious rust. I looked in all the usual places and everything looked pretty good. But I was thinking about selling my car so I was taking some more detailed pics of the dings. Like these cracks where the spoiler wing was molded to the quarter panel: When I saw the second pic I figured I better check that out. That whole molded in piece ended up coming off and I found this: Bummer... http://67.18.219.83/image_hosting/web_pages/Mike88se/images/240/240Z.htm

I am replacing the stainless steel strip that has the window squeege on it. It slipped on ok untill the last 5 inches towards the front of the door. The last 5 inchs of the strip acts like there is something preventing it from slipping all the way down on the lip. I looked under the strip with a flashlight and can't see anything in the way. The strip went over the barrel shaped roller bracket ok. Its just the last section between the roller bracket and the front of the door that wont slip into place. Thanks Miles

So this past weekend I finally got around to installing the mirrors that I bought for the Z. I must say the install was fairly straight forward and really didn't take more than half an hour. I spent more time taking the old mirror out then putting the two new mirrors on. I must say it is really strange to look over to the passenger's side and see a mirror there now. It helps to see if there's anyone thee but it is still strange. Here are some pics of the mirrors. Jan

Hello. I'm relatively new to this forum and I'm looking for a few parts for my '72 Z; Urethane BRE front spoiler/ spook. With or without vents. Preferrably without, but will consider anything. Not really looking for an air dam to replace the valance and corners. Just the unit that bolts to the valance, etc. Rear lower body panel (weld on) with or without exhaust cutout. Preferably without. Tail light lenses. I don't care too much about the chromed plastic. Just looking for a good, relatively inexpensive set of nice lenses. Euro/ Jpn spec or US/ Aus spec. I don't care. Unvented hood. Minor body damage and tearin/ cracking doesn't bother me, in or near the Denver area. I'm …

Hey guys, Am planning to use Rust bullet on my entire 240z, that would include the interior, exterios, under the hood and under the car, possibly every where will be covered with rust bullet ,primed then top coated, so here is the question, "How many Quarts /or Gallons of Rust Bullet are Needed?" PS: This is one shot order, since I won't be able to order these material again (due to shipping issues) so I do not want to order huge quantity,, just enough to cover my car ! Thanks

I need to do some repair on a 240Z front frame rail (its bent inwards towards the engine) from about the strut tower to just behind the T/C mounting bracket. I can get donor parts from a 280Z 2+2 but I'm uncertain whether these would be interchangable. I don't have my S30 parts CD with me today so if anyone knows the answer, please post it. I suppose that I could always fabricate what I need, but using good donor parts seems the better way to go.
