Hi, Thought I would say hello. My first Z was a 71 240 and I sold it only because I didn't know how to deal with the rusted floorboards. Then got a 260 (sold), then a 300ZX(sold). The 70 240Z #0907 I have now has no rust and I plan on making sure it stays that way. Going to try putting computer type fans in areas that normally rust, rust coatings and liberal wheel bearing grease smeared on in problem areas. What a fun car to drive! Mikes z car

I always wanted a first generation Z. When I lived in california going to high school for the first year is when I saw it on the road and I really liked it, but as a teen I cant afford anything. Years past by and few Z generations later I finally got one. In the past I had a Z32 and a Z33. When I got my Z32 a year ago It was cool but then I saw a ad on craigslist some guy selling his 240z. I asked him would you like to trade and mine is turbo. Took him 2 weeks to respond and he wondered why? When the time came he ask and I told him I wanted this all my life. Took me awhile to get rid of the things he put on cause its not a classic to me. Took off the MSA full body…

Hello out there. Former 2x 240Z owner looking to start up again after 35+ years (never lost the desire). I'm wondering if anyone has put together a list of what to look for when buying a 240Z, along with things to avoid. Any help you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone my name is mark and I am from Australia. I have been living in Japan for the last year and I will go back to Australia in June. I hope to buy a 240z in the near future in Australia as I have come to like the old Zs. I became a member here to find information on the good and bad points of the old 240z and find out the best places in the world to get parts etc:cool:. Thanks

Hello to all of you! I am in the process of getting my Z car back on the road. It was bought new by my dad in 73. Sold to my sister in 80. And sold to me in 91. It has a BRE built engine and a later model 5 speed. Also my Sis added a full flare and spoiler kit when she owned it. I drove it for about 5 years then had to park it. Just re-aquired it from a storage lot in Corpus Christi last week and am getting ready to make a serious street car out of it. Have been racing Mopars for decades and have a very potent 340 that will find a home in the Z with the help of a builder here in Colorado that specializes in Pikes Peak Hill Climb cars. Know I will have many questions and m…

I have been working on my Z for almost 2 years now, and what an experience! I am getting it back to really good condition. It has an electronic/push button start, and the tach is not functional. Anyone know where the tach should be hooked up to? Thanks!

Tokico vs Eibach vs any other suggestions for suspension kits. I drive 20 miles a day over a windy smooth road, (fun), and 20 more on city/highway. I've read a few comments that the spring upgrade makes for a somewhat uncomfortable ride for normal commuting. Seems though that the positives outweigh the roughness. Any opinions? thanks

Just thought I'd join and see if I could make a few friends with words of wisdom. Alright I guess I'm supposed to talk about my self now so here goes. I am simply a man striving to become the actualization of his full human potential. Attempting to live each day to it's fullest and use each moment to become a more genuine and conscious human being. Another political refuge of the mindless consumer pop culture that has infected this world. Someone seeking depth and meaning in this life, without the comforting delusions of religion or the superficial distractions of mass society. Idealistic and young but far from foolish. A modern human being not concerned with outdated and…
