So I made the jump. I purchased a 73 from a buddy in town for $600.. the car had been sitting for 25 years all tarp'd up, some how the tires held enough air to pull it onto the trailer and get it to my house. and by the time we got it in the garage the snow was going hard, we've had the weirdest weather here in Saskatchewan, usually we get dumped on around november-december... but this late is unheard of. anyways, I'll try n get some more pictures up, -40 C weather is not something i can work in, even in a garage heh essentially this will be the car I will learn on, make some mistakes, discover what tools i need, and i'm hoping she turns over.. fingers crossed! on…

Searched many ways for this info and can't find it nor the brackets on any of the popular parts sites. I got the new (4) plastic clips that hold the plug wires and then realized I don't have brackets for two of them. I have the rear bracket thats screws into the valve cover that the three wire clip slides into, but missing the bracket on the valve cover that the 6 wire side-by-side clip slips into, and the last bracket that holds the 6 wire clip (two rows of three) not sure where it mounts to, even after looking at many engine photos. I know the three place floater doesn't need a bracket.. Am I missing something on the parts sites? It's easy to find the plastic clips but…

Hi everyone, I've another question that isn't specific to z-car science, but is relevant to the general setup thereof. My question is in regard to stretching a tire across a wheel for which it's too narrow. A 205 tire on an 8 inch-wide wheel, for example. It seems that, in many cases, this is done simply becuz the owner likes the look. In other cases, it seems it's done because the proper-width tire doesn't fit under the fender. My question is, what does this do to a tire in terms of its structural integrity and performance? Is there a threshold where a tire can still perform safely under aggressive driving conditions (autocross or a track day, for example)? At what…

I have a 77 280Z with factory engine an factory 5 speed manual I have replaced all fuel system, starter, fuses, fuel pump. An when you go to start it the parking light an taillights will come on an the volt guage an the car will backfire. Could it be a fusable link bad an if so were are they all located at on the car? I need to get the car running to sell it.

Just my luck, I have 3 240Z owners in my neighborhood (excluding myself)! Lucky for you guys, one of them is selling his 1971 240Z.
