Hi Guys, i am posting this a little early, but in the near future i am going to be upgrading the brakes on my 240K The Car currently has a set of upgraded front brakes which i am looking to sell (they were on the shell when i bought it). My car currently has C210 struts, but i do not think this makes a difference (i believe they were only swapped as the struts were height adjustable) The Calipers are Toyota Hilux with Honda accord discs. They fit under my 14" rims and according to the datsun 1600 guys, are a pretty good upgrade to the 240k ones! Not sure what they are worth, i guess around $350 for the calipers, pads and rotors? they will have to come off when the upgrade…

Ok, today i noticed that the inner tie-rod ends where they bolt onto the drag link are very close the the crossmember (infact it slightly rubs when i turn the wheel) i dont think it was like this before i rebuilt all the front end i think i could possibly have the idler arm bolted in the wrong position? it is in the middle set of holes, is this right? is it possible i have the struts reversed??

im trying to change the bushes in the rear wishbone on the IRS set-up on a 240k, I pressed out the standard bushes, but can seem to fit the new pedders bushes... there is a metal sleeve inside where the stock bushes sat, does the sleeve need to come out?? ifso how, ive tried pressing it out, heating it and it seems to be stuck?? next question, would R30 skyline rear wishbones bolt onto my 240k?

I need to sort out a brake booster, master cylinder that will fit my firewall holes and run the R32 GTR front brakes and 300zx rears. SWR have informned me that I could use a 240z booster with a 280zx vertical mount master cyl 15/16 ratio and that this would be fine. Hoppers stoppers have recommended using a late 70's booster 1inch master cylinder from a Patrol. They say this fits straight onto 120y's 200b's but they are unsure if it will fit the 240K. Any ideas which kit will be best or any better ideas to sort the issue out please let me know Cheers Andrew

hey guys, first of all id like to start with the fact that i know little to nothing about susspension and steering i want to upgrade the front end of my 240, better suspension, better brakes, tighter steering (personaly dont want to try and put in power steering as i dont like it, but i remember that when my 240 was on the road the steering was all over the place), ive been slowly reading through previous threads but cant seem to find specific answers so i was hoping that other members could post up with what they have done to there 240's in terms of steering, suspension, brakes. Both just upgrading OEM and also retrofitting other car parts onto the 240. Hopefully with so…

Hi Guys, I'm getting some plates laser cut to be welded to the firewall behind the brake booster and also to the back of the steering column support to offer extra strength. They will fit the new model skyline booster pattern. If any one is interested I can get some made up for them. I'm paying about $55 to get the pattern made and two cut, after that I think they will charge $10 each one they do. The reason I need it is that I forgot the column can be adjusted in the K and when you move mine up it hits the bottom of the booster, as I now have six holes in the firewall (two new ones to mount r34 booster) not 4 and will end up with ten holes when I drill the new 4 to mount…

Hi all, I've been slowly getting the bits I need for my rear disc conversion, I had my brackets made (laser cut), and I threaded them, also I had my brother spin down the "tab" to make a 4mm offset to centre the caliper to the disc, as you can see they fit pretty good (on my spare 240k). also here's a link to my web site with more pictures http://noddle.110mb.com/Rear%20Disc%20Conversion/index.html Nigel

I'm looking for a new idler arm for my GC110. I found a part number from a company called OEM products (PAJA) (P/N SX4221) out of Australia, but haven't found anyone that sells one online. Mine is completely knackered, so new bushings won't work. Is there any interchange from another Datsun/Nissan? If anybody can help, please reply to this thread or PM me. Thanks, Chris

Hi Guys, do we ahppen to have anyone here that knows anything about steering? i was researching a new harmonic balancer for my RB25DET, when i started to wonder about whether the RB25DET power steering pump (which i believe is dual stage?) would work with the (i believe) C210 steering rack that is in my car. that then led me into looking for the amount of pressure the C210 steering rack works with.. so far i havn't found anything, but i did find the following website, http://www.datman.co.uk/techtips/index.htm which has the following information: ------------------------------------------------- C210 C230 Rack Something for the more technically adverturous of you: Want m…
