hey ive been doing work on some S130's (yes i know that its not a C110 but the fronts are the same between the two) and i just thought anyone who wants coil overs in the front may want to have a look at this thread i am doing in the S130 section, http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?p=343274#post343274 the hybridz S130 guys seem to be more active in asking questions so there is a little more info on the hybridz thread, http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/95443-j-rex-from-team-shogun-s130-with-s13-coil-overs/ i am still learning so if there is anyone who would like to have some input its most welcome :>

Hi Guys, i am posting this a little early, but in the near future i am going to be upgrading the brakes on my 240K The Car currently has a set of upgraded front brakes which i am looking to sell (they were on the shell when i bought it). My car currently has C210 struts, but i do not think this makes a difference (i believe they were only swapped as the struts were height adjustable) The Calipers are Toyota Hilux with Honda accord discs. They fit under my 14" rims and according to the datsun 1600 guys, are a pretty good upgrade to the 240k ones! Not sure what they are worth, i guess around $350 for the calipers, pads and rotors? they will have to come off when the upgrade…

Hi Guys, i am just about to put in an order for a set of 16x8 (0 offset) front and 16x8.5 (-6 offset) rear watanabe R's in magnesium centre and polished lips. The reason i am going so large is to fit a set of R34 Skyline GTT disc and calipers on the front (large 4 spot aluminimum calipers, 300mm discs). I chose the particular offset and size as this was one of the 2 recommendations from the watanabe website (the other being in 15") for the KPGC110 GTR, and the GTT came out with 17" wheels standard. To be honest, i have no idea if the 16" will fit, i have the flares to go on the car, but someone also said the GT-R track is wider than the KHGC110. anybody here good with wo…

I came home today to find 2 nice big surprises! 2 huge watanabe boxes with my nice shiny new wheels in them!! I ordered a set of 16x8 (0 offset) and a set of 16x8.5(-6 offset) Watanabe R wheels. The wheels were ordered as magnesium coloured with machined silver rims Unfortunately when i pulled them out of the box (man are they LIGHT!) they are all magnesium (so no silver finish). Not sure what is going to happen yet, i have emailed the guy who ordered them for me to see what the best course of action is anybody know somebody in sydney who would be able to machine the rims and polish them up? i have no idea what it would cost to do, but it may be an option to fix them …

240K Handling 1 2 3

Hi Guys, Just wondering if any of you have done any suspension work to your cars to help them handle better on the road/track. I have some real concerns that after i do my RB25/30 swap, the front is going to be a lot heavier and understeer a lot more (that is... if the car ever gets traction) So far i have the following (suspension wise) Front: height adjustable shocks (C210 i believe) Whiteline BDF33 swaybar Whiteline SPF1224K bushes Rear: Munroe GT shocks Whiteline BDR5 swaybar Depending on what size rims that i get (hopefully 15/16" watanabe if i EVER find some), i will lower the car accordingly. The swaybars go on over christmas, i will make sure …

I have a pair of rear brake drums that came spare with my 240Z when I bought it, but were lost in the deep dark cave known as the "garage" some time ago. I found them again the other day and thought why not swap them into the 240K? They look fairly identical except the Z has heatsink shims around the drum. Before I go ahead and do it, is it ok??? I don't see how it could be a problem, but I thought I better ask. Here are some pictures. Both are marked with MAX. DIA. 230.0MM, 9.055 as shown in the second image.

Hi, I'm about to sell my left kidney to buy a set of 16*8 & 16*8.5 Watanabe's (with my 15% discount) What I'm unable to determine is the colour, I want the black ( gun metal ) looking rims with polished lip, but I don't know what Wantanabe calls this colour, I have found this link http://www.watanabe.com.au/page4.html they have Black Matt black Gloss black the Magnesium colour looks like it almost the same as the black but a little lighter, can anyone give me a insight into what I need. thanks, Nigel

here's some photos of my k, which is coming along slowly, still got to do a full respray (thinking r32 gtr white) but not sure what wheels to use... I got these aluminium wheels for when I added the flares, they have quite a large negative offset, but I am thinking that some watanabes would be a little sweeter. also needs a tidy up in the engine bay, and most of the gtr bits - mirrors, grille, badges etc. It's not a cheap excercise gathering the bits, is it? On yahoo at the moment, someone is selling a grille for over 1700 dollars. I find it amazing that these parts are starting to be worth this much!

I need to sort out a brake booster, master cylinder that will fit my firewall holes and run the R32 GTR front brakes and 300zx rears. SWR have informned me that I could use a 240z booster with a 280zx vertical mount master cyl 15/16 ratio and that this would be fine. Hoppers stoppers have recommended using a late 70's booster 1inch master cylinder from a Patrol. They say this fits straight onto 120y's 200b's but they are unsure if it will fit the 240K. Any ideas which kit will be best or any better ideas to sort the issue out please let me know Cheers Andrew
