I have a 240K GT intake manifold and also a 240K towbar on Ebay at the moment. I'm not sure if anyone really wants this stuff, but if there's anyone out there who does, go and have a look. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170177314898&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170177316821&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007

Big thanks to Kent (helper of many K owners) for getting the shots for me. SWR had sent me a heap of PDF files and I couldn't shrink them to fit on here. As stated in the title my vert is nearing the end of it's modifications and is so close to burning rubber on the tarmac I can smell it. I'm fairly certain it's the most modified K in the world, just waiting for Alfa's approval. As you can see the R230 diff and cradle are in as well as the R31 front end. The front has DR30 struts with 5 stud Z31 hubs waiting for GTR brakes or GTST. When it comes back to me this weekend I'll post some shots of the V8 and gearbox in place. Most of the V8 is sitting right back behind the fr…

hi Guys, well, i have managed to snap up the 240K GT that was recently on ebay.. It is a 72 model (complied in australia 1/73) and it is build number 280! i know it wasn't probably the smartest buy.. considering my other project.. but i just can't resist sometimes! unfortunately the car was a bit of an ongoing "project" and most of the bits of the car have been lost including the original engine, gearbox, bonnet, rear light panel, dash cluster, seats.. it was destined to have some form of V8 in it, but i am looking to fix her up and try and bring her back to a somewhat original look. the car is moslty stripped at the moment, so i am looking at fixing the remaining rust,…

Kent has come up with this one, and I also believe it's a good idea. Keep in mind that we are trying to document those cars actually and provably sold by Nissan in Australia as either HGC110 or KHGC110 Datsun 240K GT's. Considering that by 1973 when the first were delivered: 1. the fitting of an Australian Design Rule Compliance Plate was mandatory and 2. the description on that ADR Plate was required to describe both the make and model it is a fair assumption that each and every one of those cars will have an ADR plate which describes the car as a Datsun GT in one fashion or another. If the car doesn't have a plate carrying that description then there is no way of provi…

Allright guys, it's been a while since I've posted. I have barely had time to blink. Anyhow, as some of you may know I was the one that bought Ray's car. You all know how it was equipped at that time. Well, since I got it here just a few months ago, I've managed to make some upgrades. Here are some pics of the new drivetrain. And here is a walk around video of it I got it all together in time for the largest Classic Japanese Car Show on the West Coast. We towed it all the way there and back. In the two weeks since, I have managed to get it sorted a bit more. It idles smoothly, revs easily, and is down right scary. The suspension and brakes are not up to…

I guess my car belong there, or is it in the 240Z thread Look what I found, the missing link, for 255 000 yen, a bargain, I am so happy! A classy ride, with Aston or Jensen hints and a real Dat's pedigree, lucky me!

Hi Guys, just a small update on things, as i havn't had much time (or money) to do much lately.. I spent the last 2 weekends repainting the brake calipers and engine covers on the car in an awesome metallic red that i found. The pictures don't do it justice, but i thought i would post them up anyway The covers use to be a powdercoated yellow (meant to be gold, but far from it).. and while they arn't S20 red.. i am happy that i am going back to the red theme.. oh.. attached is also a photo of the brand new Cusco front stut brace i finally got from japan as for the rest of the car, i have taken off the watanabe's and getting ready to coat them in POR's Glisten PC (ha…

Hey How the heck do you get the horn pad off of a C110?! :stupid: I tried just pulling it off but it didn't seem to want to budge. Is there a trick to it?
