My Friend Sultan and his group enjoying Skylines in UAE ...... My dream car came true by owning a 240K in the USA,Sultan Almansoori the owner of the flat black Hakasouka and the silver Kenmeri who made my dream come true(Thank you Brother).....I owned a few in the old days in Q8(born there)...240K and 280ZX.Also I owned a 78 C210 in Amman Jordan for a couple years but I had to sell it for a finacial reasons that time(1994).....then moved to USA in 99 and after that I never drove but Datsun/ Nissan Z's and C3 Vetts. http://anythingcars.us/2015/02/22/gt-r-hunting-in-ras-al-khaimah/

Yep Finally I will own a GT 240K ......My friend bought this 240K from Astralia and he will convert it to Left Hand Drive and do all the body work and interior plus mounting a 280ZX drive train and then ship it to USA from UAE (Dubai)....here is some pictures so far and I will post as they come from my Friend Sultan In UAE....... This picture when we tow it from the original owner... When it arrived to UAE Dubai... The work started strip and convert to lt hand drive.....

So this is the reason why I sold my old 1976 Kenmeri skyline. This is the Datsun 240K GL (C110 Skyline) that started racing back in 1973 in the Australian Manufacturers Championship, under the FIA Group C Classification. The car was campaigned by the Datsun Racing Team, after the car was recieved from Nissan. This car is believed to be possibly the ONLY Datsun 240K to compete in Australia under the Group C rules in the 70's. I know that this might not be the right subforum but I figured yall might a bit more experience since you have more access to Skylines. I am looking at importing an r180 LOM55 LSD from Japan. It seems that from the ads they are being pulled off the KGC10s . I was wondering if the fitment was the same for the 240z, bolt size and axle size, spline count etc. I want to roll with an LSD but don't really have the power to justify swapping to a R200.

OK, I have some gross smelling fumes getting sucked in through the boot because the rubber has lost it's resistance to bouncing back I presume. I'm pretty sure I've seen some new looking rubbers on members projects before, so I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction on where to find them? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Looking for more info on my 240z. 11/72 #30133548 Its all original, factory A/C, E88 orig head, dual round-top carbs(european SU), EasyRiders(rare)14", I guess I'm looking for more specific history,etc on the "very last" production number of 240z. Just b4 they changed in 1973. I know my car is "technically" a (73)... Is what I have more rare than the average US Datsun 240z ? Its all original Orange with back spoiler. Looks like stock Factory ??? Any specific info would be much appreciated. Ive read a lot of in general stuff. Trying to pinpoint where mine fits in with the history. Thanks
