  1. Hi Charles, Thanks a lot. That's one of the keys to a fast lap there, and a good passing zone. See you next time. Greg
  2. Yeah, the differential was puking out onto the exhaust. I could smell what type of oil was burning but it's not my car, so I didn't continue. Woody had a good first stent, then we worked our way up to 3rd. I love the enduro races. Greg
  3. That 22 car is beautiful. The 85 car Woody owns is plain looking in a cool way. It hauls arse too!
  4. Great Shots! That 85 car has some great brakes. It was nice to have that weapon in my bag, the brakes I mean. In SCCA majors, we're one of the worst braking cars out there. The Miatas are incredible under brakes.
  5. What kick arse event! Special shout out to Linwood Staub for being kind enough to let me race his car during one of the 7 lap races. It really did make the fact that I had an engine problem in my car all better. I believe in one more lap, I could have been P1! Also, like to thank Randy Jaffe for putting on such a nice spread and the amount of effort that takes with his California staff. I know many of the folks that run HSR and they were very pleased at the participation of the Nissan/Datsun brand and all their loyal supporters and enthusiasts. The car count was WAY up. Till next year. Greg
  6. One on podium. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Classic Zcar Club mobile
  7. The length if the rod that comes out of the booster and contacts the cup at the rear of the master cylinder. This length is very important and many times when you change the brake booster it throws the adjustment off. It may be slightly push the master cylinder piston in which messes everything up. Sent from my SM-G930V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  8. Make sure there is free play in the rod, since you changed the booster Sent from my SM-G930V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  9. If you want a set of 14" passport racing wheels, lemme know. Sent from my SM-G930V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  10. I also use redline brand products. My race cars use the MTL and it works great. They are stock synchro gear boxes. Sent from my SM-G930V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  11. I need some MK63 Vented Calipers if anyone knows where I could get some or anybody wants to sell. Thanks, Greg Ira
  12. Did you search the SCCA archives? Greg
  13. Hell Z car folks, I always send out an email when I travel. Any z carfolks around in this area? I know that's a dumb question because it seems that most of the Z car enthusiasts are from California. Being from South Florida I don't make it out here very often. Let me know and we could get together for a beer. Regards, Greg Ira

    Daytona SCCA Runoffs

Thanks everyone for keeping up. I am just now coming back to Earth. While I like a good head to head battle as much as anyone, that was still an awesome outcome. The team is tempting me into going to Mid Ohio next year and the champions provisional makes it even harder to turn down. Special thanks to those that showed up and supported and especially 26th-Z for the cool pictures. All the best, Greg Ira
