Well, I actually have (2) 1971 240Z. Amazing the importance of timing! Roger Schmidt was contacted by the owner of these two cars. Prior though I had contacted Roger looking for a rolling chasis. Roger called me 3 days later and linked me with JP. <br />
There was one catch, the sale was for both cars along with many many new parts to build one "new" care but they were both in Texas, why this project is referred to as "The Texan Twins". Both of these cars are rust free, no rust at all. I live in Wisconsin.

  2. I to am getting ready to tackling replacing both front engine bay rails on 1 of my 71's. The 3rd comment seems like a reasonable approach. Am just surprise at the low responses is all. I may look around at some of the other sites. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  6. My understanding is that there are two types of poly materials used. The attached article provides the differences. I am no expert with this stuff but it seems both types are fairly haze resistant with the difference being more in one being more starch resistant and one being more brittle. Toss a coin on which poly plastic to use. Well I attempted to attach the file but guess we can't u upload a pdf file. If you PM me I will send the article to you. 8. I just have to ask, the metal being used what type of metal are you using, stainless, or what? Also, lenses are they of lexan or the plastic that yellow as they age. They look great but little info on their construction. Thank you. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Classic Zcar Club mobile

  14. Hi all, Diseypon is around. In my conversation with him building seat brackets and inner rocker panels were not his primary business. Be patient for a reply. I can attest to the level of attention and quality of his work. I have a complete seat bracket set as well as his inner rocker panels. All high quality items and worth the wait to establish a contact and he is a great guy to chat with.
  15. I will admit I am not three brightest bolt in the pile but after doing restore to my antique Asus TF700t table I found out the Z car forum on Google play station is no longer compatible. Where or should I say when did I miss the boat with the forum. Is there another version that I can use? I will say if it means buying a new tablet, don't think that Errol happen. Great forum and thank you in advance for any input. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Classic Zcar Club mobile
