Skyline Webers

8 posts in this topic

Bought a triple Weber manifold today, the bloke told me it was off a late sixties 2lt skyline. Figured it had to be a L20a and would fit my L24 head :cheeky: wrong!

Can anyone tell me any info on this or other sites I should contact

thanks Steve

Hi HKSZ,

Its probably from the S54B-II Skyline GTB, which used the Prince G7 engine. It was equipped with triple 40DCOE carbs on the GTB model.

It must be worth a few Dollars I would have thought? You could sell it and use the money to buy a manifold that will fit your L-series engine.

Good luck!

Thanks Alan thats the manifold, it came with linkages and the very same red air box (just none of the important bits in the middle!)

Picked it up today at a swap meet, thinking along the same lines as yourself if it didn't fit I could sell it again and perhaps keep the linkages.

These Skylines would have been raped and pilaged long ago for their Webers, its hard enough to find a 240z airbox.

cheers Steve

Yeah, that's a good find.

Well done on that, as Alan said.. the GT-B came with Triples.

Now that you've got the manifold you can go about getting the rest of the car to go with it. :D

I checked out the triple 40 webers on my 240 today and they happen to be DCOE 18's the same model carbs used on the GT-B.

Looks like I am a step closer to owning that Skyline :classic:

Sounds good. Now you just need the elusive shell and engine. :D
