Good Z parts shopping off I95! I am heading to Washington DC from Savannah,GA. next week, and I am asking for suggestions as to Z Parts/roadster parts suppliers that I could visit on my way up and/or back down I95. I don't mind going an hour or two off 95, and I will be taking some tools, so even a U-pull it or a club members parts car is fair game. I am most interested in oem cosmetic parts, but for the sake of missing pristine part...
Have those off you in SC, VA and the DC area got any really good local parts sources for suggestions?
Thanks!

A Z is beautiful from any angle, I just happen to prefer to view from the drivers' seat!

Hey Will, theres that East Coast Z guy in Chesapeake VA. 757-543-8608. Call him to see what he has. Kind of crazy but fun to meet. There was also a member here selling a parts car in Fayetteville, NC. ZDreamer I think, thats right off 95. Don't know whats left of that one.

Tom,
I found the East CoastZ contact in searching the forums, and I have contacted members who have posted about other contacts in the area-one on US 1 near woodbridge VA(very close to 95-but I haven't nailed down the specifics. My plan is to call this week to verify the business hours, and visit on the way up(Sunday/Monday) or back(Thursday/Friday).
I saw the ad and was going to contact the member, but I don't want to harvest the parts of his car that would make it attractive to someone who would want the whole car. I will not be in a position to transport anything too large home-though I do have a Fedex account!

Did you actually find the name of the place in Woodbridge? I've driven up and down US 1 without seeing anything that I thought might indicate a place selling Z car parts.

No, that reference to that place was found in the archives here, I have PM'd the poster, but I am still waiting for a reply. I also spoke to Mike Powers, the Parts Manager at my local Nissan dealer(who hails from that neck of the woods, and is quite familiar with the area-as I am sure you locals probably know) and he didn't remember any such area on that stretch of road-though he did mention Tidewater might have a parts car or two.
I am suprised that no suggestions have come from the Carolinas, with the Triad Z club, I'da thunk a little something something would have been in that area.
