Diseazd Posted February 1, 2015 Share #37 Posted February 1, 2015 Steve.....Your car keeps getting better and better. The spoiler and wheels look great! As does the early bumper.
SteveJ Posted February 1, 2015 Share #38 Posted February 1, 2015 Thanks, Guy. After I get a scissor lift, I plan on replacing the rear bumper. I figure it will be easier to drop the tank that way.
Jay Gadsby Posted February 4, 2015 Share #39 Posted February 4, 2015 Got some more paint stripped off of her. Sandblasted some suspension pieces to get ready for powder coating and got the last of the metal for my rotisserie. Cant wait till she is upside down in my garage. Welding time!! psdenno Posted February 21, 2015 Share #44 Posted February 21, 2015 My Datsun adventure of the day was to figure out why my '71, which has been sitting for a while, was puking gas onto the hot exhaust pipe below the carbs. Looks like I'll be taking the float bowls apart for a thorough cleaning.Dennis
siteunseen Posted February 21, 2015 Share #45 Posted February 21, 2015 Ordered new wheels, again... Definitely waiting for a test fit before buying rubber this time!I bought some 15x7 Konigs with hankook 205/50-15 that are fantastic on my 240. No rubbing and leaves the car lower to the ground. oranngetang Posted February 21, 2015 Share #47 Posted February 21, 2015 Could be a stuck or sunken float. I had a 260Z that had a pin hole in a float and it sunk, leaving fuel puking out the overflow.
S30Driver Posted February 22, 2015 Share #48 Posted February 22, 2015 Completed changing all my fluids today with the transmission gear oil . The transmission now has Redline MT90. Now that I have changed it, I know I'll soon run across a late ZX 5 speed, do the swap, and get to change the gear oil again.
