Techno toy tuning is a well known store amongst the z community, while i haven't bought that item before I've had good dealings with them on parts to Australia a couple of times.

While I've never used them, I've seen these in person and they look like they'd do a great job.

This is the first time I've seen these but with precise adjustment capability they will no doubt be fine. Take a look at www.arizonazcar.com. They offer a billet aluminum tension rod with the same precise adjustment characteristics although a tad more pricey.

I've had the Techno TC rods on my 240 for 3 yrs now and have had no issues whatsoever.
It has allowed me to get 3 extra degrees of caster as well.if a little knowledge can make you dangerous, I'm a little dangerous

Thats really good to hear... How is the car on the street? or is it?
So far Im down to two choices.. the one Arne suggested or the TT's... I found out that Brian at ZCC is selling his sets to Hybridz guys for 190 shipped... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=152585 .... so i might go with them instead of the TT's if Brian will get back with me.

My friend went wild and bought nearly everything that T3 makes for the Z cars except for the rear diff conversion. The front control arms and tension rods are very stout. He is still working on the coilovers but I would definitely consider Techno Toy for my own car after seeing what he received. Other friends also use Gabe's AE86 stuff and they are not easy on their cars running drift, grip, and skid pad
ZCC has some nice looking products too, I don't have personal experience with them though (I have them book marked though)-Andy

While not currently on the road (snow, salt, ice - oh my!) my 240 gets driven about 7,000 miles a season and those are mostly hard miles. It is not a daily driver and is set up pretty close to a track vehicle. I would raise the ride height, change the tires and remove most of the interior to get it to that stage.
Car sits low, rides on 275# springs and Tokico HTS shocks set at the mid-point. Camber is neg 1.5 front and 2 rear. Corner balanced within 50 #s front/rear, side to side and cross.
Hard to tell what the addition of the Techno TC rods did other than allow for more adjustablity but I did get an extra 3 degrees of caster and it turns in very easy. I made too many changes last winter to the suspension for me to pinpoint each change to an immediate effect on how it handles (before and after).if a little knowledge can make you dangerous, I'm a little dangerous

I have a friend that just installed these on his 73 the parts look great and adjustment looks good too, however I did notice that the tension rod might cause issues down the road. Since everything is solid mounted there is no give and the mounting point for the tension rod may need some reinforcement, I could be wrong. But if i was going to install them on my car I would stitch weld that area before installation.

I recently installed these on my track car. I didn't like the course threaded hardware they supplied so I replaced it all with good stuff. The rods are very good quality and I like them. I gussetted the rear mounting point on the frame rail to insure strength in that area. I would recommend these rods to anyone who is going beyond "spirited driving" on the street.

Im very excited to purchase my items from T3.
All of their products look very nice, and sturdy.
I emailed the company and the response time was great.
Picking up their coilovers, 4 of their weld on camber plates, and some other minor things for under 1000... not bad in my book.

I figure I'd post some pics of my buddy's car since it has been almost a year since I last mentioned it. He pretty much went all out with T3 suspension. I am definitely considering the control arms and tension rods in my next round of suspension mods. Engine and brakes will likely come before that though.
Anyway... alignment at my friend's shop, the Z owner (another friend) wanted the car low. He is running HTS shocks with the T3 suspension setup
