Two 240Z fuel pumps? Catalog wrong?
I was looking for a fuel pump in the Summer 2006 edition of the Black Dragon (Victoria British?) Z catalog. The catalog indicates that the '70 240Z has two fuel pumps, an electric by the gas tank and a mechanical in the engine compartment. I'm pretty dang sure this isn't correct. Is it?

No. While the wiring for an electric pump is in the harness, US spec cars didn't get the second pump until '73.

In addition to that, I belive the early 73's only received the elec pump as one part of the multipart dealer fix for the vapor lock issues seen with the flat top carbs. I can tell you that mine has the elec pump but it looks like it was added on later.

Bonzi (7-73) does NOT have and electric fuel pump, however has the pig-tails neatly wrapped to put one in.
