Default After market body panels?

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a aftermarket source for body panels?
I am really looking for the lower center valance for a 240z, but also want to see if they carry other parts as well. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Try MSA, VB and Tabco, ZBarn.

Default Tabco rear wheel arches

When I bought my '73 the outer rear wheel arches were rusted through. I purchased a pair of replacement arches from Tabco and had a local body shop weld them in and spray them with primer. They did fantastic work, check out my gallery for a few photos.

Occasionally you will see a center valance on ebay.

Occasionally you will see a center valance on ebay. I've got the corners where the turnsignals go. In really good condition if your interested in those.

Edit: sorry for the double post.

Thanks Ken, Ed, 240znz for the help.

Ed, I already have the corners and am only in need of the center valance.

I just received two front quarter panels from VB last week. They arrived in great shape... only one tiny ding that can be tapped out easily. I'd recommend them anyday. They package them well to prevent damage.

There is a picture on there of them teh day they arrived.

The VB stuf is made by Tabco. Buying direct is a good bit cheeper.

I haven't tried fitment yet, but they look identical to my old ones.... well... identical with less rust. From other reports I've read they fit fine.

I do not see the quarter panels available from Tabco.

everything else but those it seems. I searched several sites selling tabco parts... none list the fenders, if you know of them send me a link.

I paid 189 for mine which sounded reasonable, especially since I got free shipping. Zbarn sells used ones for 125....

I should clarify, zbarn sells used OEM ones... off old cars for 125, not used tabco reproductions

Tabco only sells replacement "repair panels", so it's cut and weld type of stuff. They make great parts and at least for me in IN they ship free and their price is less than VB and the rest dealing direct. The only problem I've had recently is that they are way behind and it seems to me that they are filling big comercial orders before us little guys. I've had 2 rear quarter repair panels on order for about a month now for my son's truck and they aren't here yet, and from Dec '04 through Mar '05 I called every 2 weeks about the availablity of a dogleg for my 240 and kept getting the same old "they should be available in 2 weeks"... ended up ordering from VB and paying about $15-20 more just to get the project moving forward, BTW it was a Tabco marked part

I bought both rear wheel arches, one inner wheel, both rocker panels, and a lover fender from Tabco, and they shipped it to me for free within one week.
I have not put them on the car yet, but I am impressed with the way they look.
very solid looking parts.
