Found this '73 240Z on the Tucson Craigslist. The car has a 260Z engine with round-tops. Needs front fenders, hood, fuel tank, bumpers, and tail lights. Seller claims that the suspension is all intact and rolls freely. Seller will include a 4-speed. Has a title. A lot of stuff missing, but appears to be a solid Arizona car for only $1,700.00. A project that got started, but still has a long way to go. I briefly spoke with the seller and it's # HLS30-17493. If I'm not mistaken that would place it as a 12/70 build date, making it a 1971 model year car, but still a Series I. I found this Z on the Phoenix Criaigslist. Looks to be a solid, matching-numbers AZ project car with lots of extras including a Vintage Dashes refurbished 240Z dash, new front & rear disc brake kit and new stainless steel header and exhaust system. I don't know the owner/seller and I have not tried to contact him. Price seems a little high to me, but I'm sure the seller will listen to decent offers. Here's the link: https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/d/phoenix-1972-datsun-240z/7078006622.html Here are the details that the seller lists out about the car: "I purchased this a few years ago and just haven't had the time to work on it. I don't have to…

What appears to be the same person has two Z's for sale as "parts cars". The yellow shows up twice in different parts of Seattle, listed as a 240, and another time as a 260. Not sure if it's real, but the both are claimed to be running. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/d/seattle-73-datsun-240z/7067282425.html https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/d/seattle-z-parts/7066352796.html https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/d/seattle-datsun-260z-part-out/7067276015.html

While everyone is drooling over the green car on BAT, did you run across this one (link below)? Seems like a great price currently under $20k at the moment. One day left on bidding and this looks like a clean '71 to start off your love for the classic Z. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971-datsun-240z-122/
