Anyone out there try 18 x 8 wheels on a 240 with low profile ties to maintain the same tire diameter (24.7")? I'm having alot of concern about the requried offset to make this work. At firs t plush looks like I'll have to go 15" wheels with the appropriate adapter.

Could anyone suggest what would be the biggest caliper i could get into a 16' or maybe even 17' rim? Ideally i'd like to run a coilover setup with camber tops and the biggest brake caliper i could find. The back is getting the disc brake mod done... ...so any suggestions/advice would be great. Kid-K is sure to have some great ideas

Hi, I've been wanting to do this for ages , I special ordered these blank rotors from DBA and they have been sitting in my spare room for a few years now. and now I have some time, the weathers getting nice ( no shed to work in though ), and I found a small engineering firm, the spacers between the hub and rotors, the enlargement of the center hole for the rotor, and the caliper spacers, all came to $50, not to bad I thought. Going to be doing a bit of work on my white 77 240k soon. Got all the bits ready for the manual conversion and thought I would do some suspension work while I'm going. Picked up some low king springs a while ago but am thinking I will need to put in camber plates to keep it straight. Front looks to be well aligned at the moment with standard tyres and rims. The rear is running some big negative camber and I will be looking into that at the same time(maybe sagged springs?) but will be leaving the rear height standard if it looks ok once camber is corrected. So my question is regarding camber plates have you guys fitted any and if so which do you recommend. Have seen p…

Hello, I have been looking for a cost effective way of lowering my yonmeri to a considerably low height, coilover kits I have found in japan demand an awful lot of $ 3k= from what I can tell.. I know r30/31 coilovers can be retrofitted to the front, but what have people done with the rear? even the lowered spring options for the rear dont seem to go to a reasonably low (tucking the rear tyre would be perfect for the look I am after) I could not see the sense in spending anymore than 2k as a total budget for brand new fully adjustable coilovers. So whats my best options?? Any help be very much appreciated!

How do you think these would go? http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewitem?itemId=181041321107&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=14494925318 I was given supposed s13 coilovers to transfer to mine but I went down to datsport and they told me the ones I have wouldn't fit... Has anyone done a coil over conversion and is it difficult. I have the larger diameter 240k brakes. So was looking at the hilux/magna setup. I've read a couple threads on it but none were a straight answer on what caliper and disk off what model etc. Cheers Terry

Hi all, I am rebuilding the brakes of a 240k. I am struggling to find much in the way of stuff advertised as 240k/c110, but have a strong feeling that wheel cylinder kits/master cylinder kits/sumimoto caliper rebuild kits etc are probably common to a bunch of other Datsun models. Anyone know what brake/clutch items are common, and which are K only? Cheers, Drew

Hi, Can some one tell me what size brake booster / master cylinder came out on a original '73 Coupe, I was looking at mine today, and the booster is small, 5 inches by the looks, with a 3/4 master cylinder. Nigel
