Hello all I have just picked up a 240k coupe and it has this grill: Can anyone tell me if this is an aftermarket option - or did some come out with it? Is it off a different model Datsun? I've never seen one before... Cheers Matt

Hi, Looking to buy a pair of early style fender mirrors, but before I commit I want to ensure it is possible to disassemble them so I can have them re-chromed. Has anyone taken a pair apart, or have a Japanese Workshop manual that may show this? Regards Ray

Hi, I've been looking into making my own tails lights, I know that they come up once in a while on Yahoo, but to be honest I can't be bothered, so I'm making my own. Since I have not done molds before, I've started small. I just poured the other half of the mold, so tomorrow I will know how it turned out. Nigel

Hey Guys, i'm stuck for ideas on what colour to paint my K? Keep in mind its a four door with no flares. ( i know, nothing flash.) I'm looking at Gun Metal Grey, Silver or a really dark Red. If you have any other suggestions on a colour just post a photo. I also have a set of Watanabes that will go on with the K once it's done and need a colour for them too. Any suggestions on which colour should go with which? Kid-K Jr

Hi Guys, As some of you know, i have had my car sandblasted a while ago.. The sandblasting removed 99.9% of paint, however left all of the interior body sealant intact. I have to say the overall condition of the car is pretty good bar what i would call the usual rust problems, however I spent most of yesterday scraping the factory sealant out of the panel joins in the cabin, i am glad i did, The biggest issue was in the front corner of front footwells where the sill meets the firewall and A piller kick panel area.. Once i pulled the sealant out, it showed that there is a direct gap right into the wheel well.. i can't remember there being sealant on the outside so i assu…

NEVER tell a panel beater to take his time. 23 months in the making. Now the fun part, puting it all back together So much more money to spend. Only problem with new paint is everything else has to be brought up to standard. Man I love my JDM tail lights PM me if you have a bonnet popping cable or some extractors. Thanks to my fellow ANZACS I already have a mint dash top from Melbourne.

Hello everyone, I thought I would put up some info about powdercoating I had done. I had some bits and bobs soft blasted, primed and then powercoated black, they came up an absolute treat. Like new almost. All I did was wire brush them and a bit of a sand and a good wash, got them back 4 days later at about $80. I can do other peoples parts too, the men that run the shop are a good mates Dad and his friends. All old school hot rodders. Black and White are done every day, small turn around. Any other colour and a bit more time is needed. Cheers, Ben.

Hey guys, Was thinking of using heaps of kill rust to stop surface rust and just rust in general to prevent it getting any worse. You guys use kill rust in a pressure pack for this or is there something else I should get. My poor old SSS pulsar (young compared to the cars in here) needs a touch up, and I thought I'd practice on her before I go near a project car

I have heard several people say that this chrome badge is a necessary vent to the fuel system, is this really true? I just bought a 1973 240Z that a previous owner has had it shaved and filled. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if so what did you do to vent? I like the clean look of it but don't want any fire hazard. Thanks JJ

240K coupe clips required

I know this is at a push but I NEED some boot clips as per this picture. They slide in underneath the stainless trip that sits on the lip of the boot lid. Mine have all rusted away. Not keen on paying over 200 for new ones out of Japan. Also need the mounting parts for the front guard eyebrow chrome that fit to the inside of the stainless trim itself. I have a spare 240K coupe but these parts were already rusted into the earth. Can you help? I may be able to help you with a part off my spare coupe.
