Do early 260z's need high pressure fuel lines? I'm replacing my fuel and breather lines. I picked a bunch up at my local Napa store, but then my dad asked me if the car needed high pressure lines... :stupid: Anybody know? Thanks!

It is not necessary with carbs, only fuel injection. But it never hurts to get the best available hoses instead of the cheap stuff. For what little bit extra it costs it wasn't a bad deal over some of the flimsy, soft rubber hoses you find at some auto parts stores.

Hey thanks for reply. I've noticed on the whole you reply to a lot of queries, and I'd say all the replies you've given me have definely been helpful. Thanks 2ManyZs.

High pressure line is 15psi or more and cost on the average of $4 more per foot, that's right per foot. If you think the cost is worth it byall means have at it. If the majority of your run is steel lihe I guess I could see buying hi-pressure line. think about 10 feet is $50!

:) I see. I'm guessing my Napa store hoses are not Hi Pressure then, since I didn't actually spend that much on quite a lot of hosing.
