How to correctly use a carb sync

Hello all,
My question is how do you know how much to open the breather dial to get correct flow on a carb sync. I watched the z therapy video but am still stumped.

It's a matter of trial/error......however, its best to adjust the dial so the ball is positioned approximately midway in the tube. As you have likely discovered, you can't leave the Unisync on the mouth of the carb for too long. Anyway, hope this helps you out a little!

As long as the red indicator is floating somewhere in the middle that's good enough. You're just trying to make sure that each carb flows the same, not somehow trying to measure the airflow and calibrate it to a specific setting.
