280z 2+2

[280ZED]

I have 1975 280Z 2+2 manufactured in December of 1974. the last five digits are 00306. I was wondering if my car was part of the first shipment or something like that(like prototypes, demo cars, etc.)or rare(2+2). Or if they changed things after the first couple cars(problems). To sum it up I was wondering if my car is special(not like z's aren't) in any way or just normal. Just a little curious thats all. If someone has any information about this please let me know.

i have a 75 280 2+2 and my vin is 000089 and i was trying to find out the information as you. mine has also been parked for about 20yrs and i am the 3rd owner. i bought it off the lady who bought it in 78. my first car and i doubt i will ever sell it

To my knowledge the 2 + 2 s started in '74 260s in the USA. this is the first I have heard if any were numbered differently . Wouldn't surprise me though. I am not aware of a special 2+2 or any that are considered rare. Gary
