Vintage Races in Las Vegas

Calling all Datsun enthusiasts and Vintage racers- VARA is having their first Datsun / Porsche Challange race in Las Vegas Oct. 14-15. Viva Las Vegas!!
The track map is on the VARA site, it is a 2.2 mile course with techincal and fast portions- All drivers of various ablilities will be allowed to run in many different run groups. Contact me if you want any more info or you can check VARA Site (http://www.vararacing.com/Overall1.html)

Looked around on the site and didn't see the event listed anywhere. Please let me know more particulars. What time, spectator costs what ever. Not going to run my car but would love to see how the L6 and L4 do against the German engineering...Hope that some of the site's track guys do run so I can meet other members. Las Vegas isn't that far from me so this is an event I can make pretty easily....

Vara puts on a great show, you won't be disappointed! Wish we had it in the plans. Got ACRA Oct. 11, Nasa Nov. 11-12, then OTR Nov. 15th, new tires, air dam, mirrors, head light covers, geez we're going broke..... but having fun doing it! lol

John, did you get you Z together or are you running the Spitfire? Sounds like it is going to be one of those events to remember!

Thanks for replying to the announcement-
Yes my "Z" is back on the road and just got back from Laguna Seca "Vintage SCCA" event there- Met some new "Z" faces as well as some old one's from the different boards- Think we had 6-7 Z's there and all represented very well- Hoping to get some more out to Vegas- :rambo: Phil M and myself have been trying to get this race for 2 years- It use to be a Alpha / Porsche race, but the Alpha's have seem to have disappeared in numbers anyway -I ran it last year as a Honorary "Z-GOTO"- LOL

Hope to see racers and spectators- 10.00 for the weekend for Spectators, which should not put a dent in the wallet as the Gambling will!! :smoke:
