So I finally got my hands on the wheel I had been looking for for a while now (a Nardi!) thanks to our "man in Japan", Miles. Thank you so much to him!! I bought a hub adaptor kit, Autotechnica, for Nissan. The indicator cancel pins were too far out though. Very odd. Since I bought it from a shop owned by my dad's friend, he modified it for me! Very nice of him. So now the indicators cancel! Awesome. So I fitted it today, but I am left confused about how to fit the centre horn button and ring. Firstly, I plugged the wire from the Boss to the single spade on the back of the horn button, but it doesn't work. I'm no electrician, so I've probably done something obviously wro…

For those of us doing a GT-R replica, it can be tiring (and expensive!) to find all the little bits that make up the differences. We have to draw a line somewhere... The cover on the instrument panel in our cars is woodgrain, but the GT-R had a brushed aluminium one (and the same for the centre console). One of the easiest ways to replicate the "look" without spending a bucketload is to get some silver/chrome spray paint and give it a lick. Good enough for some. Just recently Peter (440K) came over to pick up the parts car I had, and invited another guy who has recently been inspired - Sasha. We were talking and he mentioned that he was told that underneath our woodgra…

Hey all, Does anyone have any nice detailed photos of GTR interiors? I've pretty much got the outside downpat, but I've no idea on the interior. The more photos I can get the better, it'll help me decided which way to go with the interior Cheers, Adam Edit: typo

Does anyone know if c110 skylines or 240k-GT's etc, came out with electric/power windows, mainly for the 2dr version. I wan't to put some in my 240k-GL coupe, I have found that the main contol switch from a c210 skyine centre consul fits perfect in the consul of the 240K. There is a lift out blank panel in the 240k consul that this switch bolts into, the screw holes are there and everything. This makes me think they were thinking about bringing out electric windows or they came out in other models and not the ones in Australia. If anyone can share some light on this topic I would appreciate it.

Hi guys just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where I can get a replacement heater tap for under the dash as mine is pretty corroded etc. Is there a different model datsun which uses the same one? I looked at universal ones but most of them are a slightly different setup and need to be modified to work. I found the ones on Import Monster, these will be the last option i guess if cannot find something else as they work out to be roughly $130 delivered I think when I worked it out, might not be much to some people but would rather put it into other places on the build Thanks in advance! Matt.

i've taken notice to the differences in not only the dash trim (brushed metal v wallpaper wood), but as well to the door panels --the GT-R (2000 GT) appears to have a very different arm rest and lower trim configuration than a non-2000 GT/240K. moreover, when doing a GT-R conversion, how does one acquire accurate interior panels? as well, it appears the rear passenger side panels are the same. yes or no? here are some comparison pictures: pic 1 and 2 are (apparently) from the GT-R; pics 3 and 4 are from 240K:

as some of you know, i have been looking at trying to get some seat rails for my recaro SR3 seats, to fit the 240k.. After a bit of searching, i found a company in tokyo that sells the seat rails that i needed!! Luckily for me, i had family going over for a couple of 2 week stints in tokyo, and i was able to get the rails delivered to their hotel so that they could lug them home for me (12.5kg total, i wouldn't wish that on anyone other than family http://www.howars.co.jp/search_result_free.php?free=C110 The part numbers were N094SR and N093SR I was a little worried at what the rails would be like, seeing as the web didn't show pictures, and google translator didn…

Like the post title, has any one fitted Air Con to idealy their C210 but C110 info would help. I'm after info like what parts you used and what did they come off etc, esp the heater unit inside of the car. Thanks for any info people can provide.
