Well... Today is the first day back at school for the local comminity college, and the parking lot is filled with...RICE! I even saw a riced 5.0 Mustang on the way there (only 1.5 miles.) It was pink with clear taillights, flares & skinny tires, and a few bumper stickers on the front chin spoiler. In the parking lot, I saw half a dozen subarus with the huge spoiler, and then a few pontiacs, Honhuhs, and a couple Citations with them too. Not to mention most of the cars in the 'Employee section' didn't have the permit sticker in the window... "There was no other place to park!" they'll say. Next week they'll get cited.

Alright guys, here's an off topic project for everyone. I just bought a ceiling fan from Lowe's yesterday, and I want to install it in the middle of my room. The problem with the idea is that my bedroom did not already come equipped with a light fixture in the ceiling, so I will need to run the wiring to the fan itself. I want to be able to control the power going to the whole fan by my light switch in the wall, which turns off power to an outlet that is just a few feet away from the switch itself. It sounds really easy: get in the attic, mount the fan (which was pretty easy), find a junction box for the light switch/wall outlet, splice the fan wires in using rollomax, an…

I think the engine compartment is the best part on my Z. With all the steel braided lines, custom radiator with electric fan and all the polished parts under the hood.

I know that this is a Z car website, but thought that I would post here, maybe one of our members is interested. My father-in-law has a 73 610 wagon with 78,000 miles. In great shape. He is asking me to help him sell it. I'm in Pomona, he is in Carmichael. I am trying to get some pictures now. but with him being technologically impared and the distance between us, it will take some effort. I'll probably have him buy a disposable camera, take pictures, mail me the pictures and then I will scan the images. The car is in the shop geting a tune up now. It has new tires, brakes, wires, etc. I though I would post here before I put it on ebay. Thanks

Yair, O.K. I know it has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Zeds or even cars in general, but I thought some members would be interested to know that Steve Irwin's Memorial was held today. About 3 thousand FREE tickets were handed out on a first come best dressed basis. People lined up for over 24 hours to get them. There is, at this time, an in depth report on; www.ninemsn.com.au Which includes video coverage. It will not be there after tonight if you're interested in seeing it. Rick. :devious: :devious:

I am transporting my Z, (or having it transported), from Indiana to California for restoration. I am looking for someone needing a car transported, for my return trip, from the west to the mid-west to help off set some of my expenses.
