I have just pulled my 1972 240Z, of which I am the original owner, back in the garage to re-assemble for transport to Les Cannaday for it's rebirth (restoration). This has caused me to lament on the life of a car, an oddessey if you like. A car which has been part of some of the fondest of memories and some of the saddest of memories. I have decided to start a thread sharing the restoration and telling the story of the life of my 1972 Datsun 240Z. It will be a story of 4 years of the original fast and furious and 30 years of good intentions without results. Hey everybody, I thought this might be fun. Post a picture of your wheels, either on your car or otherwise. I accidentally side-tracked a perfectly good thread by getting caught up in a hubcap and subsequent wheel discussion, and thought it might be interesting to see what everybody has. The only restriction is that these MUST be wheels you've actually got now, or a picture of wheels that you had at one time (if it was just wheels that we wanted, I'd be here all day talking about Impul Silhouettes and Advan Onis and whatnot). Hi All, I'm saying hello from rainy England, and hoping to tap into this forum as a great resource of information and people. I'll start by saying that I don't own a Z car and never have although its been my dream classic for quite some time now. Ever since I saw the below linked video on Petrolicious (a couple of years ago now) I decided that I had to have a 240Z.
